The Christmas for South O Mission

Our mission is to show Christ's love by spreading hope one child at a time. The Christmas for South O program provides every registerd family with:

• New Toys
• Stocking Stuffers
• Wrapping Paper
• Gifts for Parents
• A Turkey or a Ham

In 2006, serving over 1,200 people was a colaborative effort of many individual contributions, Mission For All Nations, Westside Church, Hy-Vee, Smith-Barney, and others, with the Fraternal Order of Eagles providing use of their building located at 2226 N St.

This year, 2007, as we will be helping even more people than last year, we will need MORE help. Actually, we need YOUR help. You can help in three ways:

Here are some suggestions: assorted stocking stuffers, dolls and doll houses, cars and trucks, construction sets, jewelry, board games, play people, electronics for the teens.

Please note, gifts should be donated unwrapped. Please do not include toys that promote violence or witchcraft.

You can make a difference! It is hard work, but seeing with your own eyes, and feeling an unspeakable joy on the inside is a rewarding experience. This year, don't just donate your time - start a new holiday tradition!

Every contribution helps, large and small. Funds are needed for toys, turkeys, hams, and wrapping paper. Christmas for South O is more than just a toy give-a-way progam. It is an event. The families are greeted with a holiday party! Food, cookies, face painting and crafts, and even family pictures. There are a couple of ways you can donate.
